Get ready

Hi all,
Our final weekend is upon us.  We have covered most of what we need to for you to be ready for the testing that is coming this weekend.  We will tidy up all the tests that are outstanding and spend time practicing.  Take some time to review ball controls because we will formally test that this weekend.

Jean & I are looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow.

Cheers,
Andy

A few things...

Hi everyone,
It's been a busy week.  I hope you are all able to get some time to enjoy this long weekend.

The pages that need to be completed in Workbook #2 are: pgs 8 - 11.  I recommend that you take a look at and make some personally meaningful notes on pgs 18 & 19, B.D.P.S. on pgs 21 - 24, T.S.S on pgs 25 - 27, P. L. on pgs 28 - 30.

I wasn't able to come up with any other good sites for games, but here is a start.  I'll post more as I come across them.  I will also make a point to show you some more games during th enext weekend.

6 organizational elements

They refer to the 6 organizational elements in the "planning a lesson competency". I'm not sure what they are. I found something that talks about phase of play, zone, focus, ball received, ball sent and environment.
Anyone else get that? or something that actually makes sense lol

Thanx
Tom

CP1 Manual

Thanx for the replay Anna. Just wondering if anyone else is having trouble getting onto the CP1 manual on the TPA website.
I've been trying all day and it keeps telling me that the page is no longer available. Anyone else know how to access the resource material?
Thanx
Tom

Great Canadian Coaching Website Resources

Here are some great websites that you may want to look at. Best of all they are Canadian and showcase the kind of expert coaching that we are developing here at home.

www.acecoach.com
www.lauruscoachingsolutions.com
www.gbatennis.com

Check them out!

Andy

Congrats!

Thanks for putting forth such a strong effort this weekend. Jean and I feel that you all were very engaged and got something useful from the content we went through. Over the coming days I will put some info up that you may find useful. Please use this forum to help one another and to contribute to the course as a whole, while using the appropriate filter asa it is an open environment.

Well Done!

Andy
